Junior Instructor Training

The All Star Sports Academy has a couple Junior instructors on thier staff looking for some summer hours. We will be offering Baseball group hitting on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 6-8pm, and Private softball pitching instruction on Fridays from 10am-5pm. 

Beginning the first week in June! 

Baseball Hitting Groups

Days: Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday

Ages: 7-12

Times: 6-7pm (7-9 years old)

7-8pm (10-12 years old)

Cost: $15/player

Softball Private Pitching

Day: Fridays

Ages: 10-12

Times: 10am-3pm

Cost: $50/HR

Instructors:

Blase Cormier is a senior at Wayland HS. He is a 4-year starting varsity player who started in every game of his HS career. Blase batted a career high of .414 with a HS seasonal record of .550 his senior year. Blase reached the 100 club with a career high of 101 hits. Blase also hit 28 doubles, 4 HR, and only struck out 8 times in 242 at bats during his 4 year career. Blase has committed to playing baseball for Suffolk University in the fall where they finished as conference champions this season, and made a strong run in the NCAAs. Blase will be working with the baseball hitting groups this summer.

Alyssa Rossillo is a senior at Lincoln Sudbury where she is a 3-year starting varsity softball player and senior captain.  Alyssa has provided private instruction for players ages 10-13 years old over the past 2 years. She is a strong role model and mentor for softball players, and she communicates to players and parents in both group and private instruction. Alyssa has committed to playing softball at Regis College in the fall. Alyssa will be working as a private softball pitching instructor for the summer. 

 Brooks Cranmer is entering his 4th season as a Blazers' coach. Coach Brooks will become the 12u Cooperstown head coach. He brings 29 years of baseball experience to the program. For the past 6 years, he has been president of the Waltham Connie Mack Baseball league where he coached for the past 10 years. Brooks has coached his Connie Mack team to the regionals in Troy, NY, 9 out of the last 10 years. He also coached a series of different baseball club teams includng the Roto Rooters amature team for 2 years. 

As a competitive pitcher and a middle infielder, Brooks was a 4-year starter for the Milton High School varsity team. He was invited to 6 professional baseball team tryouts until he suffered an untimely career ending injury. Brooks will be working with the baseball hitting groups this summer.
